YubNub: A command line for the web

This is making its way all over the blogosphere lately. YubNub is a new site that offers what they call a "command line for the web". There are all sorts of cool things that you can do with the service and they all work like a Unix command line.

Here are some examples that I stole from their front page:

gim porsche 911

Do a Google Image search for Porsche 911's.

ls

List all available commands.

random 100

Pick a random number between 1 and 100.

create

Create a new command

man random

Display help for the "random" command.

tts hello there

Speak "hello there"

And you can add your own commands that will be instantly available for all users of YubNub. For example, I added a command, "redune" that does a search on redune.com, just type "redune yubnub" and you'll find this post.

I think this shows a lot of potential, defintely a site to watch.
