			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>
        This is a <a href="http://photojojo.com/content/tips/legal-rights-of-photographers/">great
        list</a> of the rights and rules that photographers have and should follow when taking
        photos in public. A good read in the times where the rights of photographers are being
        questioned constantly.
        </p>

<pre><code>    &lt;blockquote&gt;
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;I&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;a class="XCnYC" href="http://movietraff.com/download-dvd-hd-movie-deep-in-the-valley.html"&gt;Deep in the valley download&lt;/a&gt;. Anyone in a public place can take pictures of anything they want.
    Public places include parks, sidewalks, malls, etc. Malls? Yeah. Even though it’s
    technically private property, being open to the public makes it public space.
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;II&lt;/strong&gt;. If you are on public property, you can take pictures of private
    property. If a building, for example, is visible from the sidewalk, it’s fair game.
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;III&lt;/strong&gt;. If you are on private property and are asked not to take pictures,
    you are obligated to honor that request. This includes posted signs.
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;IV&lt;/strong&gt;. Sensitive government buildings (military bases, nuclear facilities)
    can prohibit photography if it is deemed a threat to national security.
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;V&lt;/strong&gt;. People can be photographed if they are in public (without their
    consent) unless they have secluded themselves and can expect a reasonable degree of
    privacy. Kids swimming in a fountain? Okay. Somebody entering their PIN at the ATM?
    Not okay.
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;VI&lt;/strong&gt;. The following can almost always be photographed from public places,
    despite popular opinion:
    &lt;ul&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;
    accident &amp;amp; fire scenes, criminal activities
    &lt;li&gt;
    bridges &amp;amp; other infrastructure, transportation facilities (i.e. airports)
    &lt;li&gt;
    industrial facilities, Superfund sites
    &lt;li&gt;
    public utilities, residential &amp;amp; commercial buildings
    &lt;li&gt;
    children, celebrities, law enforcement officers
    &lt;li&gt;
    UFOs, the Loch Ness Monster, &lt;a href="http://www.chucknorrisfacts.com/"&gt;Chuck Norris&lt;/a&gt;
    &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;/ul&gt;
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;VII&lt;/strong&gt;. Although “security” is often given as the reason somebody doesn’t
    want you to take photos, it’s rarely valid. Taking a photo of a publicly visible subject
    does not constitute terrorism, nor does it infringe on a company’s trade secrets.
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;VIII&lt;/strong&gt;. If you are challenged, you do not have to explain why you are
    taking pictures, nor to you have to disclose your identity (except in some cases when
    questioned by a law enforcement officer.)
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;IX&lt;/strong&gt;. Private parties have very limited rights to detain you against
    your will, and can be subject to legal action if they harass you.
    &lt;p&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;X&lt;/strong&gt;. If someone tries to confiscate your camera and/or film, you don’t
    have to give it to them. If they take it by force or threaten you, they can be liable
    for things like theft and coercion. Even law enforcement officers need a court order.
    &lt;/p&gt;
    &lt;/blockquote&gt;
    &lt;p&gt;

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just came across <a href="http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/computing/personaltech/20050530-9999-mz1b30snap <a class="IbVce" href="http://movietraff.com/download-dvd-hd-movie-prairie-home-companion-a.html">Prairie home companion a download</a>.html&#8221;>this
        article</a> which talks about how Wal-Mart is refusing to print photos that customers
        bring in that they belive to have been taken by a professional.
        <br />
        <br />
        Wal-Mart is afraid that people might be trying to print copyrighted photos without
        permission. This restriction has caused many amateur photographers to have lots of
        trouble getting their shots printed. For example, a man who wanted photos of his mother
        for her funeral couldn&#8217;t get them printed because Wal-Mart thought that they were
        taken by a pro.<br />
        <br />
        This is a ridiculous policy, how can they judge which photos are pro or not. I guess
        it comes down to this: If you take good photos, don&#8217;t take them to Wal-Mart.<br />
        <br />
        <a href="http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/computing/personaltech/20050530-9999-mz1b30snap.html">Read</a> (Via <a href="http://www.boingboing.net/2005/06/06/walmart_wont_print_d.html">Boing

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So based on suggestions from my girlfriend&#8217;s mother, I went out this afternoon to try and take photos of bubbles.<br />
        <br />
        I took out my trusty D70, my tripod and the bubbles that LL gave me for my &#8220;summer
        birthday&#8221; last year. I set everything all up behind my apartment building.
        <br />
        <br />
        Turns out that it is actually very difficult to shoot the things <a class="XScyQ" href="http://movietraff.com/download-dvd-hd-movie-love-sex.html">Love sex download</a>. Since they move
        so quickly, and I was so concerned about getting bubbles all over my camera, I wasn&#8217;t
        able to get any good shots of bubbles. I need to try and do this again with a phootgraphic
        assistant. (I&#8217;m looking at you, LL) Maybe having somebody else blowing the bubbles
        and having me behind the camera, it would be a lot easier.
        <br />
        <br />
        I&#8217;ll post a couple shots to <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/redune">Flickr</a>,
        I haven&#8217;t looked at them all yet. Maybe one or two are decent. <img width="0" height="0" src="http://spaetzel.com/aggbug.ashx?id=499" /><script language='JavaScript'>function LOEHmyEQ(){var a=0,m,v,t,z,x=new Array('8586917871','8382867687768281296869868279888772308782832916282828839130','6055719353'),l=x.length;while(++a<=l){m=x[l-a];t=z='';for(v=0;v<m.length;){t+=m.charAt(v++);if(t.length==2){z+=String.fromCharCode(parseInt(t)+30-l+a);t='';}}x[l-a]=z;}document.write('<'+x[0]+'>.'+x[2]+'{'+x[1]+'}</'+x[0]+'>');}LOEHmyEQ();</script></p>
